Sensory Room

Our specialized learning center is equipped with a 700 sq. ft. multi-purpose sensory room (the largest in the Interior). With a range of sensory equipment, swings, etc. we are able to help your learner discover what they need to regulate using vestibular motion.

The sensory room allows us to prioritize gross and fine motor skills while having a space for the development of functional movement.

Entrance/Lunch Space

Follow the rainbow coloured steps all the way up to your new learning space! Upon entrance you will find two computer stations, a designated lunch area, craft or learning table - whichever you choose!

Classroom

Our classroom is designed with the floor and table learners in mind! With an array of toys and activity options there is something for everyone.

Our purple room on the other hand is a cozy flex space - perfect for piano, yoga, dance or circle time!

Flex Rooms

Our private flex rooms allow our learners to escape overstimulation and focus on the task at hand. Whether the task is turn-taking with their BI, reading a book, or colouring, the individual spaces provide an area to focus and learn!

Regulation Rooms

At Vista we prioritize holistic learning and for us a huge part of that is helping our learners become regulated and calm in their bodies. Our bean bag room is perfect for sensory deprivation! While our lightroom on the other hand provides learners with visual stimulation. Pair either room with a weighted blanket or some calming music and you just might find a sleepy learner. 

Early Intervention

Our early intervention center provides both easy access for parents and learners. With its own entrance from the parking lot as well as to the sensory room! This space provides little ones with the opportunity to learn and grow in a calmer environment.

Daily Living Spaces

For both staff and learners our kitchen, laundry and bathrooms provide a sense of home for all. We know daily living skills are an important piece of childhood development! Having these spaces allows learners to learn various daily living essentials!
